HJG Sexual Integrity Mentor Training: Expanded Description

What’s Included?

First 6 Months:

• Online Platform Access: You will get access to CoachAccountable, the online platform that we use to mentor men, which includes access to dozens of useful files on many different recovery themes.

• On-Demand Learning Opportunities: Access to 24/7 learning materials to support your recovery journey.

• 12 Live Trainings: All participants will attend twelve 90-minute sessions that occur every other Monday evening (twice a month) for six months

• Interactive Group: We limit the training group size to ten people so that everyone can participate fully enough to benefit from the training.

• Session Recordings: Recordings will be available for the sessions that you miss. Additionally, some teachings are broken into smaller sections (a ten-minute clip on how to handle X situation, for instance) so that you can review them topically. No personal stories will be recorded.

• Safe Story Space: You will be able to tell your own story in a safe place with others who will do the same thing. Each of us will tell our own story with sexual struggle. This helps us to be compassionate with strugglers who need to come forward with their stories. Telling our story in a safe, confidential group empowers us to overcome the negative aspects of shame and use the power of our story to make sexual struggle a subject that is safe to talk about with others.

• Story Crafting: We will teach you how to use your own story as a powerful tool to connect with and to help ‘strugglers’ dare to trust you.

• Deep Understanding of Sexual Addiction: Gain a comprehensive understanding of issues related to sexual addiction.

• Connection with Other Men: Build deep, meaningful connections with men who share similar goals and values.

• Monthly Zoom and Telegram Support: Join a monthly one-hour Zoom meeting and an exclusive Telegram chat group for ongoing support, connecting with current participants and alumni.

• Practical Tools for Success: Learn practical tools and habits that help men achieve lasting success in their recovery journey.

• Adaptable Training Content: Gain confidence in using this training content to help men 1-on-1 or in small groups, empowering you to make a real difference.

• ‘Stop-Acting Out’ Tools: Learn valuable tools and self-awareness concepts to help men stop sinful habits and achieve moral purity.

• Church Leadership Topics: Engage in discussions on church-related topics like discipline, public confessions, and creating safe environments for members to seek help.

• Growing Confidence in Helping Others: Develop confidence to be a supportive friend for those striving for freedom, relying on the Holy Spirit for strength and guidance.

Second 6 Months:

• Direct Input: Applicable to all twelve months of the training, Arthur will be available to answer questions / give advice about specific, confidential (individual or church) situations that you are facing. He will help you think through the biblical principles that will guide you to know how to handle tough situations in redemptive ways.

• Monthly Teaching & Discussion: Arthur will offer in-depth monthly teaching on a specific subject related to sexual integrity and then facilitate discussion around that theme for a total of one hour.

• Independent Mentee Sign-Up Option: Gain extra access to CoachAccountable to help people in your community or church. Once you have learned how our platform works, we will give you the option to have people sign up under you, gaining access to features such as journaling, whiteboards, appointments, and Crash Reports. It’s free for you, and only a small fee for the mentee (to cover platform access). Required that you will actually use it for this option to apply.

• Prayer Partner Option: If you have a flexible schedule we may be able to arrange to have you sit in on Arthur’s 1-on-1 Zoom sessions as a Prayer Partner with someone who trusts you! Arthur will try to match you with someone who is just starting to meet with me and who come from a similar church background.

Ongoing Access:

• Join a private Telegram group of trained mentors for continued support and resource sharing.

• Access our monthly alumni Zoom meetings for encouragement and training updates.

Requirements

• Reliable internet connection

Next Training Start Dates
