More on What This Event Is About and Who Should Attend

In this Mentoring Foundations event, I want to give you the tools and confidence to support men and women facing the challenges of sexual addiction. This workshop is open to women as well, and we are glad to have them join us.

It's a one-day workshop is designed to walk you through the key ideas and practical steps for helping others, from understanding the root causes of addiction to creating safe spaces where people feel comfortable opening up. Through interactive sessions, you’ll learn how to reduce the stigma around these issues and build trust in ways that lead to real healing.

Whether you’re a new mentor or someone looking to gain more knowledge to help others, Mentoring Foundations will give you a clear roadmap to follow. This event focuses on practical techniques, genuine empathy, and biblically grounded approaches to support others effectively. You’ll leave equipped with a solid framework, relatable language, and confidence to guide men toward freedom and growth.

Through this event, you will...

  • Become comfortable with sharing your own story.

  • Gain a clear vision for where to begin helping someone.

  • Familiarize yourself with how to use essential diagnostic tools and models.

  • Develop a structured framework in your mind for the steps out of sexual addiction.

  • Learn how to navigate challenging issues that arise throughout mentoring.

  • Acquire my basic session structure that allows you to record details while listening carefully.

  • Learn when and how to introduce my JumpStart Your Freedom course as a resource.

  • Build the skills to lead a Freedom Fight small group or provide 1-on-1 mentoring with their resources.

Note: This event is no substitute for lengthier informal or professional training. You can read more about my own one-year Mentor Training program here.
